Belgian DJ, Krasius has always been a admirer of all things electronic. He started his late night adventures in the middle of the 90′s always trying to deepen his musical knowledge. A great fan of Warp, Rephlex, Ninja Tune, Sub Rosa, Hymen, Ant-Zen, Mego, Worm Interface and Skam.

Always found playing with his friends vinyls over the years growing up and when he had the chance around 2005 he got t…urntables of his own and decided to intensify his practice, in no time at all he started to broadcast his own mixes. In 2009 he joined forces with his friends at Maldita Rec and since then has performed at many Maldita parties and festivals in Belgium and elsewhere as well as a festival in Croatia in 2011 to great review. He has also taken part in many radio programs including shows from Belgium, Greece and the U.K and
in 2012 he was invited to join Structural Damage.

Krasius likes to mix different styles from electronica music including idm, industrial, drill, breakcore, acid and many more and also likes to realize ambient mixes with 3 or 4 turntables. Mixing music, field recordings, film samples and many other sound sources and using 2 other turntables with Scratch pro to spice his sets with many other ideas.

Our first release on the SDamage series gets underway this year with new Structural Rascal AIRBORNE DRUMZ new ep. (which is getting a multi label release by the way, its so f*****g good) Get in your spaceships and lets all get the fuck out of this car park of a planet. Download now !

“I always believed that two best things in this world are traveling and playing music. And i always loved the cosmos. The Cosmos is the most epic thing ever. It’s beyond space and time. It’s everywhere, it always was and it always will be. What could be better than traveling among the planets and playing gigs on starliners. Saturn Falcons is the space band in the near future. They live the best life, fighting giant octopuses, trading rainbow crystals and, of course, playing concerts on big spaceships. When u listen to the album, just know that everything was recorded on cosmic guitars and computer musical instruments of the future right on The Ghost of Jupiter Terminal Station.”

“I watched a lot of 80s sci-fi movies to make my concept more detailed. Escape from New York, Videodrome, Scanners, Spacehunter, so on so on. I tried to feel the atmosphere of the time. As a result, i got a lot of 80s emotions for my tracks. Each one has it’s own small story. Rich robots and aliens in golden spacesuits having a party while Saturn Falcons playing their hit Starliner Disco. Then, the red lights of Omega City blinding the exhausted crew of a shuttle which traveled to Mars for years. And, finally, the band plays Back To Saturn supporting Andromeda Forces who are going to have an epic battle with Cassiopaeans in hyperspace”

“My last album was about Red Planet, this one was inspired by green and orange Saturn Rings, next one.. who knows.. maybe it’ll be about the Horsehead Nebula. Anyways, it’s just another part of a journey thru outer space towards farthest stars where everyone will be happy forever. So, listen to the album Earthers.

Electronic music producer. making music since 2005. Played 50+ gigs in 15+ cities in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Austria. Already releasing 4 full albums, and a lot of material on compilations in the USA, Japan, Germany, Russia, etc.

<Bio>
I’m from small city which is in the north of Russia. I started making music as a guitarist in grindcore/mathcore band in like 2004…. We recorded 2 albums and played many gigs. But after a while the band has collapsed. However, music has become my passion and I wanted to keep goin’ with it.

I always wanted to put some electronic parts to my instrumental material. So, I started to learn how to make electronics. I tried different things, tried to use my instrumental background in electronics. As a result I made a short album “Microdot Microspace”. It was something like downtempo or triphop or whatever . . . After a while, I began to work with different musicians and wanted to make band again. But everything was wrong in that city.

I moved to Moscow. Fucking 20 million people and you feel like a shit but it gave me many possibilities. I went on terror/breakcore parties, met people, met musicians. I could ask ‘em and that was great. I learn how to make breakcore, how to make electronic music, how all this underground music society works.
I began to live this underground. 2nd album “Starshine” has been written in Moscow. All those events gave me a lot of ideas. I just tried different styles like speedcore/8bit/glitch/blah blah. . . all mixed with breakcore. When it was finished I started to play gigs.

Parties gave me even more. I spoke with interesting people again and met new and new musicians. I absorbed new ideas. Each day I lived only my music. I wrote it, I played it, and all other time I thought ’bout music. Pure emotions and feelings. My life was f’ing hard that time. I tried to survive. Kept money to rent an apartment, found time to write my stuff. Damn city where you gotta pay 1000$ per month for 1 room flat.

I finished “Fuck Tha Void” album in February 2009 and after long label search I stopped on Merry Works. It’s a nice Japanese record label. I send all materials to the owner and the artist made me a cd cover. The label said that they are sending everything to factory to make cds and I was happy at last. Next day the owner (Di-bit) deleted his page, the page of a label, and so on. Nobody knows what happen to him. There’s no any contacts to speak to him. He just disappeared from the internet. . . . I hoped he was fine, I didn’t know. 3 months later, i couldn’t wait any longer and I shared my 3rd album. But it wasn’t the end… Di-bit appeared as suddenly as he disappeared but in a whole year. He send me cds and everything was great.

2009 was really amazing. I played a lotta gigs in different cities. Performing and traveling are the best things in the world. In summer i played with Horse the Band (my very favorite band) in Minsk and Kiev and after i while i made 2 remixes on their songs. I was so happy that it happened. One rmx is released on their album “Desperate Living (Deluxe Edition)”. Also, in the end of a year I played on SickFest (the biggest breakcore event in Russia) and later I released on their small cd compilation.

2010 was even better. I played gigs in many new places (like Minsk, Petrozavodsk, Saratov, St. Petersburg and even Murmansk). It was so exciting. I started to make bass tracks cuz fashion is changing so fast and u gotta try something new n stay up 2 date. I made a vinyl split with Gromov. I released 2 non-breakcore tracks on it. I went to my 1st small tour which took a week. I got a lot of experience in the end. I always was close to instrumental mathcore. I mean people and music. So, I made my own band GHFC.

After 1,5 years of work a new 4th full album “Worshiping Mars Triangle” is ready. The release will be really soon.
Also next album “Saturn Falcons” is ready. Now, being released on multiple labels at once through net distribution.

As we slowly enter the end of 2011, weve got a few more free releases lined up along with the launch of our new digital download section in the online shop. The first release is due out in December. All we are saying is that most of the rosta is getting pretty damn busy.

In the spirit of the label its been decided that MP3 versions of this new series will still go out free or for a very minimum cost for higher res. You will have the chance to directly be able to support your artists and shout them a beer or two by purchasing full WAV versions of their forthcoming musical creations. We had better get round to doing a paypal donate thing soon too but everyones fucking broke anyway, but those kind hearted souls would be supporting the underground

In the meantime theres some new musics on soundcloud, strongly recommend this new mix by L-Reak for starters. Download it ! Fresh of the decks.

L-Reak ACID pt7 211111 by structuraldamagerecords

ps: some instrumental versions of the 12″ have finally surfaced and have started circulating on the web. If you buy yer nan a few vinyls we might throw a link to some goodies your way

Structural welcomes Microwave into our ranks. With over a decade behind him working in music from DJ, Production and engineering work in the darkest pits of Brussels he is one of the best kept secrets in electronics. There is simply nobody else that comes closer to the Detroit sound than he does in his own city. In the last few years he has developed a strong appreciation for all things lazerbass too, resulting in a veritable melting pot of sonic warfare.

Structural Damage Records is proud to welcome to our ranks music producer and sound designer extraordinaire Natalie Garcia aka Baby Kruger aka White Drama, originally from Bordeaux and currently residing in Brussels. Over the next few months expect to see a lot of activity from this creative powerhouse including collaboration work and full release on the label. This has been a long time coming for Natalie so welcome on board. Go Nat!

After several years at the forefront of the Bordelaise Industrial Rock scene within the sulfuric and avant-garde lineup “Black Hole” which she joined at the age of 18, Integrating electronic analog devices and an touch of hip hop vocal work… Nathalie Garcia aka Baby Kruger courted the electro scene, became a DJ and promoter of some savage parties, spawning raves and bastard clubs. This (mad)emoiselle then went on to compose and perform her own live electronic music where the efficiency of her mighty breakbeats combined with rich harmonic tones that were worked clearly, with electroacoustic and electronica values.

Having received a 1st at the musical conservatory of Bordeau in 2006 after 4 years of studies in computer music and acoustics, she was quickly taken under the wing of the very good local collective of musicans “Neurosystem” who’s members are dispersed also in many parts of europe.

In 2005 she leaves france for Belgium where she finds the dynamic and the musical quality she was searching for in order to further push her own boundaries and make her projects evolve even more.

Live sets with Schizoid tracks in a post-rave spirit that charm just as equally the people on the dance floor to the serious listener, she integrates a new touch of abstract hip hop and vocal work into her music to serve us a unique tapestry of sound in a strange language.

Braindance, electronica, hiphop, rock or radical techno: this is hardcore musical poetry.

Trotyl’s second outing on Structural, this time delivering us something far more disturbing than the first E.P “Bacteria”. After several shows, this project has been drawing more and more attention for its abstract and underground musical edge,… this is the next chapter in its evolution. A dark broken beat piece of work with little room for niceties…Enough talk… draw the curtains, dim the lights download it and turn it up.

In true Hellboy style, once again this podcast takes you on a sonic journey ploughing relentlessly through a veritable pot-pouri of electronic music…starting from the moody trip hop/electro vibes of Jonathan Saul Kane (The Octagon Man) all the way through to notable artists I-F, Mike Dred (The Kosmik Kommando), a remix of FatCat’s Max Richter, V/VM and many more…

At long last, we bring you the mighty Feuh! Arguably one of the hardest releases on the label to date. This is no-holds-bared techno-punk, guaranteed to make you stamp your grannies face to a bloody pulp, then go to Buckingham palace and throw a barrage of nail pies at the royal couple. Structural damage gives a massive shout out to these guys for allowing us to release this. OIOIOI!!!

Cedric kicked off his career as a DJ and techno composer / producer under the pseudonym “Acid Kirk” in 1993. He quickly established himself as one of the most revered figures in the Belgian scene and his reputation soon spread beyond his home country’s borders. Between 1993 and 1997 he produced over a dozen records (now widely regarded as classics of the genre) and regularly performed at most of the major Belgian clubs and dance events (Fuse, Rave Explosion, Cherry Moon…). He was also frequently booked to play abroad in a number of theworld’s major cities – New York, Melbourne, Paris (Rex Club), Rome, Vienna, Berlin (Love Parade) and Amsterdam (Melkweg) – often sharing the bill with many of the biggest international DJs, namely Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Miss Djax, Richie Hawtin, Dave Angel and Dave Clarke.

In 1997, driven by his growing interest in free jazz, alternative, psychedelic ambient and experimental music – and the avant-garde in general – he co-founded Elf Cut records and assumed the role of art director for the label. He also launched his new project: “The Syncopated Elevators Legacy” (S.E.L.), with which he would go on to explore fresh sonic horizons. Over a period of four years, Elf Cut put out ten records (including three S.E.L. releases) and quickly came to be known as one of the more influential labels on the avant-garde electronic music scene. S.E.L. performed at numerous venues and events, primarily in Belgium and France (AB, Nuits de Botanique, Halles de Schaerbeek, Festival de Dour, Recyclart, Vooruit, Zaal Belgie, De Singel, Batofar (FR), Festival Multimedia de Cr?eil (Fr),Centre Culturel de Nantes (FR)…). S.E.L. records were enthusiastically received by a number of prestigious artists (Christian Fennesz, Vibracathedral Orchestra, My Cat Is An Alien) and a few of the tracks even caught the attention of the late John Peel, who played them on his legendary BBC radio show.

Between 2000 and 2004 Cedric composed the music for three productions by choreographer Bud Blumenthal: “Les Entrailles de Narcisse”, “Red Cliff” and “Les Sentiers d’Ulysses”. In 2003 the Flemish Community commissioned him to reinterpret a work by the contemporary music group “Hermes Ensemble”, which he performed at the Theaterzaal in Vooruit, sharing the bill with pianist Kris Defoort and the Hermes Ensemble themselves. These ventures illustrate the evolution of his approach, which has become increasingly influenced by minimalist and contemporary music.

In addition to his work under the S.E.L. banner, Cedric formed the “Drifting Bears Collective” in 2003. Accompanied by a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer, he would use this new side project to develop the more physical aspects of his music – and thus a long creative process was set in motion, culminating in the release of the album “South of No North” in 2007. A psychedelically noise-esque free rock epic of sorts, this album garnered high praise from the discerning music press, receiving glowing reviews from publications such as “Riff Raff” and “The Wire” (the ultimate international reference magazine for the best in alternative and avant-garde sounds). The Drifting Bears Collective is also known for its numerous concert performances, having appeared alongside eminent neo-folk entities from across both the Channel and the Atlantic (No-Neck Blues Band, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Double Leopards,…).

Using his own name when performing in the experimental and minimalist music domain, Cedric’s appearances and involvement in this scene are increasing. He recently participated in the “toute craut est elle bonne dire” expo at the “centrale electrique”, for which he performed an audiovisual piece in collaboration with the painter Serge Golwicht on the day of the private view (6/2/2009). It was extremely well received by the public.

The Communaut Francaise issued Cedric a grant for the creation of a minimalist piece that was to receive its first public performance on the 19th of June 2009 at the Notre Dame de la Chapelle church as part of the “Fetes de la Musique”. This took place on the minimalist night, during which prominent international artists such as Janek Schaeffer, Christian Fennesz and Alva Noto also performed.

Cedric recently dusted off his Acid Kirk alter ego and released a new EP titled “Out of the Blew” in February 2010, co-produced by the labels WeMe and First Cask. This revival of interest brought a lot of new bookings and Acid Kirk performed a lot that year on the national & international scenes, playing in main events in cities such as Den Haag (The Netherlands), Rome (Italy) or what could be seen as a consecration, a gig in the most world-famous organization of underground rave parties: Bangface (n?72) in the center of London (U.K.). In the meanwhile Drifting Bears Collective recorded their second album, changing their names to “South Of No North” and welcoming a high profile new member in the band: Laurent Baudoux (aka Sun Papa) who released lots of incredible music under various pseudonyms (Scratch-Pet-Land, Fan Club Orchestra, Baleine 3000), mainly on the great Koln based Sonig record label. This new album is called “Octopussies Liability” and will be released in the months to come by the Brussels label “Humpty Dumpty”.

Cedric is now back working on his drone experiments and will focus on this side of his work for the next period, ’till a record in that field will be ready to release.

Structural Damage Records is pleased to welcome a new artist to our ranks, Biofix from Brussels.

The Biofix concept was born in 1997. Laurent Jansen created his first music with electronic instruments (sampler, drum machine and synthesizer) constantly looking for sound originality. In 1999, Laurent with a guitarist started a second project, named “Textures”. This was followed with other collective projects. From this experience, Laurent’s music became more electro/rock/ambient oriented. From concert to concert, the Biofix concept was enriched with video, dance and by live painting and poetry reading. Now, Laurent is focused on deeper rhythms. In his electro music cockpit, he loves to control all parameters that allow him to let his live set flows like he feels it.

This months exclusive mix on Structural Damage will be DeeElfe’s 3rd outing with us. This is arguably one of her finest mixes. A solid 40 minutes of all sorts of brilliant electro with heavy psychedelic tendencies, no automatic beatmatched bollocks here, this is vinyl mixing in its purest form. A mighty fine DJ on top form here. Download or Die.

Straight out of France, Structural Damage’s latest new artist is the mighty Feuh!

The four members of Feuh run on a steady diet of Punk, Techno, Noise and Hardcore. Their hybrid motor starts on humanoid rhythms, rumbling over devastating fucked up riffs to finally implode in the bodies of resonance…(if that makes any sense) No? It doesnt matter!!! Their history has led them to play through many diverse musical scenes in France all the way to Czech tek.

They have provided support for some of the best the underground has to offer including: Miss Helium, Vigilante, Malakwa, Phonetic Order, Dupek, Human Side, DK Dance, Block H95, Logre, Td+, UZUL, having already featured on our second various artists compilation! It’s time to unleash the chaos and bring you a full length E.P! SOON!

A change of pace for the man Stazma with this release, turning toward the realm of the devastating bass and disgusting wobble. No pussy footing around here though, this is dubstep delivered with breakcore sensibility, so expect scatterings of amens, metal guitars and some seriously mangled audio in the mix! Despite this, the three original tracks and five remixes that make up this EP are all dancefloor-friendly (provided the speakers pointed at said dancefloor can handle the towering bass!). As ever, this is a 100% FREE download exclusive to Structural Damage Records.

… then the second technics and more techno and acid tunes… and little by little her collection is growing…

She took her time for early gigs. First ones in little bars, then in 2007 her 1st festival in France, couple of radio shows, private parties (2 were in Switzerland) etc … in 2009 her 3rd times in France, a rave in Ghent, bars. She is a full member of 2 crews: Nomadic Arts Organisation (Scotland) and Maldita (Belgium)

These days, regularly playing at parties around Belgium. GO D!!!

An eclectic hour-long set that spanned dark-as-night dubstep, maddest-of-madcap breakcore, bursts of acid, a large slab of hardtek and more hoovers than you can shake a shitty stick at, and Structural Damage Records has captured the whole sordid incident on tape! Well, crystal clear 320kbps .mp3 actually.

Born on the 4th of June 1981 in La Louvière, Belgium. When he started listening to electronic music in 1993 he quickly discovered he would dedicate his whole life to nl gabber & underground music hearing tracks like Robert Armani “Hit Hard” or RMB “The place to be”. After a few years to build his own DJ “arsenal”, he began playing “live” at the age of 16 in small garage-parties in 1997. The same year he met the “hardcore veteran” Liza n’ Eliaz in Antwerp, giving her his first demos, all done on collaboration with his oldschool italian gabber bro’ called Drave. Liza opened his mind to harsher styles & from then he started playing real speedcore/terror & met Sub Zero from Cunt Records who also became a friend.

Since 1999 he mixed in a lot of clubs in B & Fr (Axiome,La bush,Wacko,Club 73,Ritz…). The same year he was thrown out by security while mixing in a terror party with Godefried (Sub Zero) because he was playing ways too hard! From this little misadventure he gained in popularity & was considered as one of the hardest DJ’s in Belgium ever. In 2004, he had a gig with Manu le malin & Torgull in front of 10.000 people at Dour Festival (Be), where he let the crowd hear tracks at 400bpm’s & more… This was the beginning for a new era: because of the fuckin’ so-called “skinheads” motherfuckers who ruined every parties, he quit gabber for speedcore & every styles he likes including Breakcore, Industrial, Hip-Hop, Speedmetal, Drum n’bass,… Since 1999 he has had the oportunity to play with great DJ’s like: Vince (Shadowlands Terrorists), Tieum (Altern-hate), The Teknoist (Rebel Scum), Radium (Audiogenic Records), Manu le Malin & Torgull (Bloc 46), Sandy Warez (Third Movement), The Outside Agency (Enzyme), Mutante (CSR), The Vizitor (Noisekick rec), Bass (D.H.T), Kaboz (Drumadix), Sub Zero (Cunt Records), Eustachian, Casual Suspekt, Reflex, Jay Kriss, Cronik… Producing alone since 2008.

The indescribable and controversial Valentin Spitaels is arguably one of the best kept secrets on the music circuit. An absolute powerhouse vinyl DJ with a musical vision that helped to start the career of many new underground DJs and Live artists. He mentored many including C-Kel and Hellboy. This guy can literally mix anything you give to him. During his peak he turned the underground scene upside down and is still regarded with much respect. These days he focuses on releasing mixtapes and likes to stay at home and look after his cats but you may get lucky and catch him mix somewhere from time to time.

Terrorhate started his mashup life back in 2004 with his friend Faux Pride (D-trash Records) listening to old Digital Hardcore records. When Faux Pride returned from travelling Marionette Records was born. Co-run by Terrorhate and Faux Pride this gave them an outlet for their music and with the local nightclub (Mood) giving them DJ slots in the basement they formed Doom, the night to host all the North UK Breakcore Alliance artists and friends.
After hosting Doom for 5 years the club closed, forcing Terrorhate to hit the free party scene. Terrorhate now plays all over the UK and Belgium, releasing his first vinyl on 2008 on Marionette Records, still DJing parties and shows with Faux Pride. He joined Structural Damage Records for his 2009 release “Great Northern Trendkill”, his retrospective album. He also works with Unjustified Records and still co-runs Marionette Records.
Influences: Lamb of God, Alec Empire, Bomb 20, Rusko, Afro-celt Soundsystem.

A very sought after performer (and catching the eye of Ad Noiseam as the infamous Bong-Ra wedding bash), The Teknoist has impressed with his ability to combine the pummelling rhythms of hardcore with the details of drum’n'bass and breakcore, the whole thing enriched with some metal spice.

Gliding in from Rigel 5, The Grand Ayatollah arrived on this earth during the mid 1980s in a similar fashion to Sun Ra, but with less sequins and Egyptian iconography. After adjusting to his human form, the Grand Ayatollah quickly learnt the ways of mankind, inadvertently picking up his awful musical tendencies in the process.

Hailing primarily from a Post Punk background, the celestial one soon combined his love for rock and roll with shitty Dutch Hardcore and UK breakbeats. The result was a piss soddon tyrade of chin stroking IDM, slamming Gabber and awkward Noise rock time signatures. Influences range from Rocket From The Crypt and Nation of Ulysses to DJ Neophyte and Hellfish, and hobbies include fine east & south Asian cuisine, Reggae, Fred Perry, Doctor Who and members of the opposite sex.

Fathme Records plague metal artist Surachai has been clearing dancefloors for years leaving only true worshippers of metal standing.

Providing punishing disjointed blast beats and spitting out non-time signatures, the once ‘breakcore’-categorized Surachai has been mending it’s own path. Focusing purely on melting off faces, it heavily relies on modular synthesizers to provide a crushing tower of sound. Surachai currently runs the infamous Trash_Audio blog and shade:red record label with Justin McGrath.

Apocalyptic breakbeats, this guy uses all his influences in music, extreme metal, reggae, funk, hip hop, sex, drugs, and of course rock ‘n’ roll!

I came across this artist while on tour in early 2008 and immediatly saw the huge talent and potential.

Expect high bpms and mashups that even people like sickboy and venetian snares would be proud off!

A self taught mucisian, it’s with the saxophone that Mozarfucker first started to share his music and express himself. His teen years were spent at the centre of an experimental rock-metal band in which provided guitar and vocals. At the age of 23 he began to DJ in the woods and fields of France.

He set up his own label CONTROVERSE. REC in 2005 on which he produced his first tracks, originally composed on a computer the year before. Mozarfucker was also promoter and sound technician at electronic music parties and other projects with the organisation MALDITA, he today carries on his activities in Brussels, Belgium.

He is to be found distorting frequencies in a new improvised formation of experimental electronic music. EKSUL RUMOR.

Structural Damage proudly welcomes and presents one of Belgiums finest DJs. Eric (L-Reak) has been spinning vinyl at underground raves and parties all over for donkeys years… so it’s only natural we sign him up and showcase his mixtapes. Hellboy first came accross his unique style when listening to an old acid house cassette tape almost a decade ago. L-Reak boasts a formidable resume, having played at the notorious and these days almost-mythical “D-Jacking Zone” and “Enjoy Apocalypse” Parties. So we kick off his Structural Damage residency with a huge hour and a half Drum n Bass mix. Enjoy!

On the lighter note of C at the lower end of the keyboard. Kragle likes to make vicious metal/break noise, silly happy slap breakcore & generally stupid remixes of various pop tunes. The major driving force behind the CITV mashup crews success in the last 5 years with 3 fantastic albums released to critical acclaim. His music also has a huge darkside taking inspiration from games like silent hill and final fantasy mashing it up with cenobytes and serial killers.

Kragle will leave you wondering what the hell happened? Also featured on Shitmats 100 Rolf Harris mashup CD in 2007.

Company Fuck is a one-man noisecore karaoke explosion. CxFx works in his own distinctive sonic territory combining extreme vocal improvisation, digital noise, hacked electronics, and deliberate musical homage/parody. With no allegiance to one sound or scene, CxFx simultaneously plunders pirated pop music whilst also blowing apart the formulas of so-called ‘underground’ genres. CxFx often sounds like one man conjuring a million artists together for a bloody entangled mess of manic audio intercourse and copyright infringement. Nobody is safe from the CxFx treatment.

CxFx is known for his brutal and unpredictable live shows, which has found audiences strangely entertained on tours all over Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Sure, CxFx uses a laptop, but any similarity to other computer musicians stops there. In performance CxFx is a totally improvised wireless noise monster, able to fast-forward through an entire rainbow of musical styles with every electrified scream, grunt, cough, or spit. In his own unique way, CxFx transforms the stage into a hyper-violent karaoke bar of the future – and he may even persuade the audience to sing along.

Mr. Titmash promises to deliver a mix of experimental, jungle and hardcore, so it’s not going to be chart-friendly muck. All the better for us, then. Frankly, we’re a bit bored of chipmunk-style vocals on factory-processed music.

His live dj sets have become a phenomenon with hilarious dubstep mashups and twisted vibes. His first release on Blunt force Trauma, the debut 7inch ‘sexy fart and turgid gabba’ was a huge success and cemented Alan(aka Johnny Pelham)’s reputation as one of the most colourful and exciting up and comming electronic music producers to have emerged in the last 5 years.

Introduction by Steve Krosier (resonance fm) and Jonathan Pelham.

Musician originating from the UK renowned for his musical versatility.
Currently specialises in techno/electro/acid and industrial electronics/EBM.
Electronica’s equivalent of a broken washing machine, he manages to fita whole drum kit inside, spins it at over a hundred degrees and everything still comes out dirty!
This is an artist that punches your gut, there is a tapestry of sound that comes to the forefront and leaps out at you with every listen.
Hellboy is punk attitude mixed with a dash of Belgian tramp and home counties charm. A true gent!

(Biography written by Dave.W)

History:

Born in france and raised in the UK by english/french parents. moved to belgium age 13
Originally inspired from the underground raves of the U.K and Belgium between the late 90′s and early 00′s. He decided he wanted to make his own electronic music after watching one of his mates start spinning vinyl at parties.

After a stroke of luck and inheriting his own turntables through a donation he started to collect at an early age. In 2002 he left Belgium for Canada where he played records at parties and in bars, after a few months a 2 year stint in Ireland bekonned where he ended up living in the middle of nowhere in Connemara in an old cottage working on the boats at sea and spinning vinyl on his own at home.It was also here that he started to make his first compositions.

After a brief move to Galway he returned to the UK in 2005 and immediately threw himself into his music, developing his own unique sound and graduating with merit in music production first at Amersham College then in Creative music production with the University of Brighton. From 2005 to 2010 he developed his music going full circle in his influences from old school electro to hard jungle/DnB to techno and now to acid/techno/electro and industrial electronics. In those 5 years he toured much of europe, sharing the stage with some of the big guns in electronic music and started to gain widespread recognition from the music community culminating in playing a set for the legendary bangface parties in the UK.

Over the years…after releasing his music first through net distribution but then physically on other labels he decided to set up Structural Damage in late 2008 so he could have total creative control over his music and expand his musical vision. The label has gone on to be an internationally recognissed name and is one of the most musically downloaded net-labels in the world. In 2010 he decided it was time to take the label to the next level and go physical … and the force of nature ep came into being. released on the 20th September 2011,…His first full debut vinyl arrived.

Aside from electronic music he is also a talented sound artist, gaining wide appreciation through his sound art work in Brighton and is a passionate advocate of concrete and sound recording. He came up with one of the strongest artistic concepts in years in Brighton by freezing home made microphones into ice and recording the sound of them melting from within to highlight global warming through sound…

in 2011 he leaves the UK for Belgium to pursue his quest for the development of his musical evolution. The future holds no boundaries. He is currently championing the music he hears and loves through a series of podcasts for Fat-Cat records.
